About The Virtual Bite

The story of The Virtual Bite began out of a very tiny space at North Kolkata, West Bengal in the year 2017. Three friends from unalike backgrounds with no formal F & B training but having a hunger for food business and making client base, estimated from their own personal understandings that there was a space in Kolkata for professionally managed Buffet Catering Service. The brand name picked “The Virtual Bite” which portrait as well as sounded like “Signify Actually but Taste Virtually”

Within a month of organizing the Event Catering Service; The Virtual Bite struck a chord with the masses. A combination of filling up the vacuum in the market along with the food class, the brand name, the affordability, the humble atmosphere and a bit of opulent hospitality…all these played major role in attracting the clienteles.

Thereafter the story changed completely post pandemic, we had huge clients waiting for our catering services across Kolkata and few Districts of Bengal…. it was embarrassing and a time had come to think ahead. In the course of the next few years the market driven demand resulted in The Virtual Bite’s expansion in Kolkata and rest part of Bengal. The team developed into a planned format in marketing, operations and CRM areas. The clients…foodies from all over Bengal and many parts of the India including existing clients contributed immensely in establishing our Brand: The Virtual Bite and also played a key role in boosting the business growth.

The Virtual Bite expanded beyond Kolkata to entire Bengal between 2017 and 2023 and the expansion plans are on-going.
